Javelina To Deliver Integrated Care Management Solution

, Arizona, May 23, 2013 — Eldorado, a division of MphasiS, an HP company, announced today that it is partnering with Altruista Health, Inc. to provide an integrated care management solution for population health management, accountable care, and value-based initiatives. The company’s Javelina payor platform will be integrated with Altruista’s member-centric, web-based care management system to serve health plans and providers.

“In today’s performance-driven healthcare climate, health plans and other risk-bearing entities must have access to the right data and technology solutions to manage population health while focusing on the daily needs of their highest-risk patients,” said Ashish Kachru, co-founder and CEO of Altruista Health. “In Eldorado, we see a partner that, like Altruista, has demonstrated value in improving population health. Together, we deliver a proven, comprehensive solution that helps customers successfully transition to value-based payment models.”

Javelina’s open platform for health benefits and reimbursement administration provides the flexibility required to support ongoing regulatory mandates and adapt to new care delivery models. Its fully integrated technology and functionality are designed to ensure performance-driven operations. Its open source architecture and expanded interoperability maximize efficiency of enterprise resources and reduce manual processes by incorporating real-time workflow management. Javelina is CORE ready as well as 5010 and ICD-10 compliant.

“As the industry moves toward increased regulatory oversight and more complex healthcare delivery, health plans and providers are seeking integrated care management solutions that position them to compete today and grow in the future,” said Eldorado President Sally Else. “We are pleased Altruista has chosen Javelina to help them achieve this objective and look forward to a successful association.”
