July 8, 2013 – Reston, VA – Altruista Health, Inc., an innovative provider of care and disease management technology for health plans, providers and accountable care organizations, is pleased to announce it was recently named the “Hottest Bootstrap” company at the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) 12th Annual Hot Ticket Awards.

The NVTC Hot Ticket Awards are held each June to celebrate the efforts of entrepreneurial companies in the Northern Virginia technology community. The awards recognize businesses that have demonstrated exceptional vision, execution, management approach, or charisma. Altruista was chosen from among four finalists as the winner in the “Hottest Bootstrap” category, which recognizes companies that achieve significant growth and customer satisfaction despite limited resources.
